Anyone know if it is possible to refurbish an original pate tank that is leaking? Is there a coating that can be applied to the inside to seal them back up? Thanks

There is no proven coating for a Pate fiberglas tank. Cut it up and dispose of it.
Replace with a Moeller 22 gallon. Shop the web, prices vary ALOT.

Ok, thanks Phil, will do, I already replaced it with a 24 gal. Moeller I picked up on the cheap. I don't like it nearly as well as my old pate, have to slide it out to fill it every time, it has torn my gas tank mats... I guess I was hoping that by now someone had developed something to coat the Pate tanks.... maybe I can find the template for the RPS risers and that will help...

Here is a good thread with links to photos.
Photo of Finnegan's risers is in this thread.

If you are not able to DIY them yourself, check with Bob Latourelle in Mass. who makes Whaler parts. No email, only phone 978.837.8808
