Need to install new style pedestal mount on the bow/anchor locker bulkhead. I presume it's better to drill all the way through and use a backing plate. Unlike previous owners, I'm more than a little hesitant when it comes to drilling holes. Looking for advice from someone with experience doing this install.

The older style Forward Pedestal Seat Part and Installation kit is shown in our download section here:

See if that is anything similar to the newer style.

Thanks Joe, that's exactly what I'm looking to do. Just not sure how and at what angle to drill so they come out "straight" especially since both bulkhead (faces fore and aft) are angled.
