I'm looking for an original replacement for the stern light pole on my 1973 Custom 16ft. I've been nursing the original pole after it was bent in 1995 but I'd love to find an "unbent" pole. Thanks for any information on where I might find one.

Here is a tip: you can simply replace the bent pole with a new piece of stainless steel. The original length of the Kanier brand all around stern light was 23 1/2 inches with no bends, unlike the stern navlight for the Montauk 17. The top portion globe/housing can be removed and reinstalled on a new piece of stainless. You can even install a longer length of stainless to get that all around stern light up higher for better visibility.

I must ask: Why are you referring to your 1973 16 footer as a Custom? It looks like a very nicely maintained Nauset 16 model with the optional reverse pilot seat and locking rod box.
