Having a issue keeping the front lounge closed. It pops up all the time.
Tried locking no success.
While under warranty marine max said they adjusted several complaints but it’s never fixed.
Trying to find a solution out of warranty now.

I recommend you contact Boston Whaler Customer Service directly and inform them your dealer was not able to fix the problem of the front lounge not fastening properly when your boat was still under warranty.

Presume you are referring to the popup lounge as seen at the 3:00 mark of this video.

In this video I hear the distinctive sound of the latch to open and close.
Two thoughts -
Can you get inside and watch to see the latch mechanism engages? It could be an alignment issue.
Also - Is it strut related?
Use your phone and take a short video showing us the problem so we can diagnose. Upload and share the link. Contact me offline if you need tech assistance.

It really is shameful to the Manufacturer that the owner of a 2018 Boston Whaler Outrage 280 boat that has an average retail value of almost $200,000. must ask elsewhere other than the manufacturing company - BOSTON WHALER, Inc., Edgewater, FL., how to fix an apparent quality control issue-defect on his brand new boat. Shame on the Marine Max dealership too for not fixing it right the first time.

Why is a 2018 not still under warranty? If problem was previously addressed and not fixed, it is still under warranty for that problem(within reason).

Recall it is 3 yrs from date of purchase. Hull warranty is separate.

I whole hardheartedly agree with Weatherly's well said comments. It is truly shameful for both the dealer and parent company to not take an active stance/interest in addressing an ongoing issue. Then hide behind clauses and paperwork to free them of responsibility.
