Hello
I would like to know if the accessory "Rub rail with stainless steel insert" is useful and is recommended, or is just for beauty
I hope to have your opinion.
Thanks

Rubrail was designed as a material that would make contact with a dock, float, pier and protect the hull and gunnel from damage.
It was designed to be damaged.
Many owners currently want the rubrail to be polished, smooth and shiny.
I think the stainless steel insert is okay if you don't mind it getting damaged.

I think you would also be playing with matches because the navigation light wire runs in the rub rail. Give it a permanent dink/dent it could pinch the wires.

Always helps to tell everyone what year, model, etc. of the Whaler you are referring to.
Toffi list his boat in his profile as a 2020 Outrage 230 which has an option of a Stainless Steel Insert in the Rub Rail.

Hi,
For now I have an
Outrage 210 model 2005 but I have purchased an
Outrage 230 2020 new now and for this reason I asked if this option cannot create problems

My friend has a 1978 23 SeaCraft with the SS insert and it is original and in good shape. Most upper end boats have these types of rubrails, especially in larger boats.

Hello,
Does anyone know how and where the original 2020
Outrage 230 battery charger is mounted?

After reviewing Bostonwhaler.com/Owner Resources/2020 Outrage 230 Owners Manual and the specifications:
The virtual tour shows the batteries are mounted on the floor, inside the console, forward of the head.
There is no "notable" option listed as "battery charger" nor is it included in the Owners manual.
Is this a dealer supplied option, if so it is installed where they decide.
Where is your information coming from?

You are right
It is an optional on special request and can be mounted directly in the Boston Whaler factory
More that I have not been able to know
I looked on other models to see where it will be placed but I'm not sure
The dealer here doesn't know much about this accessory and I don't have much time to check
If the boat is under construction, it is no longer possible to add accessories

I would ask your dealer to call Boston Whaler HQ in FL for the answer.
One can add accessories after construction.
