Hello brand new. I have a 190 montauk and was wondering if any 190 montauk 210 montauk or 170 montauk owners or anyone else has had any experience with the reversible seat livewell option? Thanks

Was an RPS livewell an option for the 190 Montauk? I believe the livewell option, part of the fishing package option, was for a livewell installed behind the RPS just forward of the engine drain well. Our 2010 190 Montauk has the livewell behind the RPS. It's a far better arrangement for us as it allows the RPS to be used as a storage location. Storage on the 190 Montauk is scarce.

You are correct they came with the livewell molded in front of the transom. As a additional upgrade (not part of the fishing package) extra 2k they offer a livewell in the reversible seat as well. The little stock one is great for a light 1/2 scoop of anchovies, keeps them alive even after a 50 mile run. Has anyone bought one with it or made the upgrade, a full scoop out there could make a huge difference

I don't know how a scoop of anchovies compares to live shrimp for bait. Our molded livewell easily supports three dozen live shrimp. It may support more but we have never needed more. The water replenishment pump and/or the through hull scoop used while underway provide such a strong flow of fresh water it's necessary to moderate the flow by partially closing the supply valve. We find it to be an excellent system.

The livewell is great, works perfect just a little small.....imagine having that stock well full of live mackerel then you flip up the seat and a whole scoop of anchovies is waiting! These tuna, yellowtail, and seabass would be jumping in my boat.
