Anyone have experience using the Spectrum blue gel coat paste? I have filled all the extra transom engine mounting holes with Cabosil and strand impregnated resin. I left a divot on each end for gelcoat. I filled and polished the outside already and am now moving to the interior splash well. Hence my question.

I have used this paste before and as long as the fill is not too deep you will be fine. It is very easy to use and is easy to sand. It will crack over time if you are using it to fill deep holes tho.
I would suggest using poly fill fairing compound to get the level up close to flush and smooth and then use the gelcoat for the final step.

Color match is touch & go as I believe Whaler used a few different variants over time.

I ended up using TAP Plastics white gelcoat, mixed with their light blue and yellow dyes. Used more blue than yellow obviously.
I mixed two batches of roughly 2oz. each. I added Cabosil to the first batch and covered 22 holes of various sizes. I have six more remaining to do when I borrow an engine hoist and remove the engine to get better access.
I was very pleased with the color match. I used three popsicle sticks. One for each color and one main mixing.
