1966 Nauset 16 trying to locate the main drain sleeve located bottom of transom. I had previously purchased items from a company in Minnesota(if not mistaken) when restoring boat. Does this company sound familiar to any one. They specialized in parts for older Whalers. Thanks

The part you are referring to is a brass drain tube.

The best vendor for whaler parts is

1979 Whaler Montauk. I replaced the Brass drain tube with a plastic one. Never had a problem with it in 10 + years after that.

Whaler part # 1073071 Tube
Whaler part # 1042084 nut
These were ordered from a whaler dealer. You can go brass but need a special tool to install them.
These were the part numbers back then. I used 3M 5200 to seal it up.
