Hi all 1985, 15 , ss we need help identifying the interior color.
Only info i can find is desert tan which looks dark. My hull is same color in and out. Looks off white or a light cream. Any help with the awlgrip color...thanks inadvance

In order to see the true color, the gelcoat needs to be free of oxidation.
If chalky, use heavy duty compound, if not go with medium duty on a wool bonnet. You should be able to see a reflection on the surface.
You will find the color will darken remarkably.
What exactly are you trying to do?

Sorry for the delay.
What i want to do is paint the interior of the hull with awlgrip paint.same color as is in it now. Looks to be an off white.
Looking for the correct paint name/code.

The factory color was Desert Tan.
The Awlgrip codes are: H6520/F6319/L6013
Note the existing color of your hull is sun drenched and faded. Factory gelcoat was hand mixed back in the day so it is not totally consistent like it is today with the computer mixing now commonplace.

Thanks Phil, i agree about fading , but then the inside should be much lighter than the outside.
They are very close in color shade. There is still a bit of shine to the sides still and i removed the rub rail and it is simular also. I will snap some pics.
To me moon dust might be the color

While I can't see the finer details, the gelcoat looks in pretty good shape.
Have you considered giving her a good compounding? Any holes can be repaired with either matched gelcoat repair epoxy or Locktite.

Yes the outside will clean up nicely. The interior i don't know. It has lots of minoe crazing cracks ,and nicks , its just dingy , wanting the inside to look as good as the outside.
Thanks.
