Hello,
Sorry for my bad english, im from Europe..
I bought a new 22 gallons moeller tank in USA with Ebay

1) I received this beautiful tank but i do not understand how the air can circulate inside the tank. Before, I used a small red tank with a small cap on the cap. (photo) I unscrewed it when i sailed with the boat.
Where is the air inlet with the moeller tank? My cap is equipped with a level fuel indicator but I do not see any possibility to enter the air. Is this normal?

2) I bought a level indicator (see photo). With you advice for the installation to be correct? I think pre-drill small holes and screw together on the tank's skull part. Is it risky? This material responds well to drilling?

Have a good day!

#1 - In the USA there is new rule for gas evaporation. The new caps have a vent built in. They also have a pressure release too.

Many owners do NOT like the new caps and replace with the old style with the screw vent.

#2 - I don't recommend adding remote sender.
