i am in desperate search for a no longer made part referred to as the Sundeck platform for my 2002 outrage 270. This was an optional platform and cushion that would be place in the bow that would fill the center of the triangle area, creating a nice place to lay.

Whaler destroyed the mold for this part in 2016. I know finding a used one will be difficult but if any owner has one that could contact me, I would love to connect and perhaps get some measurements so I could have it made.

They may also call this the "center forward seat platform".

It may be a crazy idea but consider contacting Port Harbor Marine in Portland and ask if they can reach out to any 270 owners. I recall seeing one or two in the harbor.

Can I presume you already have the diagram and parts list for the Sun Lounge insert?

Phil, thats a great idea! Cant hurt for sure...Ive seen two in the harbor but neither had the lounge. those Pdf I had not seen! thank you so much.

If you draw a blank.....I would make a pattern out of cardboard. I would then use it to make a template out of luan (thin plywood). After any adjustments, use the template to cut it out of structural composite material.
