Question- need help with how to run fuel line through deck back to OB. I have starboard 1/4" deck pieces, 3" x 20" (on each side screwed to floor ) that kept the previous tank off of deck a little. The position of this tank looks to pinch fuel line if it is back far enough to access the fill and centered under seat.
Ideas please.

If you raise the tank. ~1", will the pinching be reduced?

Have a photo showing the tank in place but not installed?

Yes. 1" would do it. The through deck opening is just a an inch or so to far forward. Was thinking of drilling out a new through deck access for just fuel line.

I have a 1982 Montauk and used 3/4 inch thick starboard under my tank. That gave me enough clearance for hose to go through the original hole. I used the metal clips that came with the tank (screwed into the floor) to keep the tank in place.

I have a 1987 Montauk and had the same issue with the pinched line I çut some 3/4 inch rubber mats to fit inside the lip of the old tank mats and used stiff foam between top of tank and bottom of seat bottom.also added straps under my new spacer mats. It works well.

I put a thin piece of Sea deck...think it is 1/4 in thick underneath my tank and slid the tank aft just a little bit to have easy access to the fill cap, where it doesn't obstruct the fuel line going back to the engine.
