Does anyone have a good suggestion on a keel guard for a 15’ classic whaler?
Thanks again

Yes, if you beach your boat. I have one pn my 13'. You have to stop it short of a trailer roller, according to the manufacturer.

Whoops. I read the question wrong.(no coffee yet). I used Megawear keelguard a few times. It is easier to install when it is warm out.

I second the use of the Keelguard. I applied it to my 130 Sport and it worked great- the adhesive held up perfectly. Be sure to prep as the instructions show. I sold that boat and will be applying the Keelguard to my 150 Sport in the spring when it warms up. The 130 had a white guard but when the black bottom paint abraded from the sand, the white showed through, so the 150 guard is black.

The 150 sport I have came with a keel guard and I wore it out. One of the reasons is like Matt says, the bow roller on the trailer peeled back the white rubber portion. Showing the grey adhesive layer underneath. Good advice!
