Hello Whaler Central forum. I'm going to head to the specialty wood store tomorrow to buy mahogany for the interior of my 15' whaler. Can anyone help me with the actual width of the console such that I can fasten the base to the embedded wood on the floor of the boat? Is it similar to the 13' whaler which has the embedded wood on the floor 13.5" from the side and 65" from the back? I have the previous owners console and it is 33" wide by 12" tall. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ken

Dear Ken,
How is it going? I am in same boat myself. I will PM you some contact information. My family has a Classic Sport 15, and we are restoring it.
Good Luck,
Paul

I don’t have the exact measurements but I put a
Super Sport console in my 1985 Sport 15 and it was about 2” or 3” less the width. The screw holes from the Sport console are outside of the Supersport console. I think the
Super Sport is about 26 from the starboard side wall to the outside of the console but I would need to measure to be sure. I do not keep my boat at my home sou can’t just walk out and take a measurement for you.
