Purchased the 2018 montauk 150 in august and looking to get a full cover for when I trailer the boat on the highway but all the manufactures have only the specs for up to 2017 models so I was wondering if their is any major differences on the new model over the previous years that might effect the cover from fitting, any help would be appreciated

Carver makes excellent covers and are, IMO, a great value. They also have excellent customer service. I suggest you call them for a precise answer to your question. They are a sponsor and a click away on this site.

Mike Carver does offer 2017 150 Montauk covers and their covers are what they call semi custom although I think the fit was custom. As the overall dimensions between the 2017 and 2018 models are the same I would order a 2017 Model cover. Just make sure you state your rail/no rail type.
I bought my Carver thru iBoats and I'm very pleased with fit and quality (7 year type). Many different types and colors available.
Drove her for thousands of miles this way and used for winter storage. No complaints.

Thanks for your info, I spoke with Boston Whaler and they also confirmed that there was no change to the overall dimensions of the 150.The best price I could find for the cover was from savvyboater.com which have the same cover as Carver.I towed the boat from Ontario Canada last week to Florida for the winter with no problems.Had to have one of the trailer rims replaced before leaving as it was warped when I picked up the boat from the dealer and would never had known other than the fact that I decided to install radial tires instead of bias ply and picked up a third for a spare and when I got them balanced realized the problem. What a difference in the ride with no vibration at all.

I wasn't familiar with savvyboater.com and always used
https://www.iboats.com/shop/boat-cove.../2017.html whit more choice and slightly better discount.
It is great to hear it worked out for you and you had a good trip South. Not everybody likes to drive with full cover but like you I think it protects the boat when driving lng distances and keep lookers out from the inside.
