What size jack do I need to change a tire on my 2001 13" Sport trailer? I'm guessing the jack for my Subaru Outback (which is what I pull boat with) is not strong enough and/or does not lift high enough.

For portable use, I use a small scissor jack for my 15. It works fine. For the shop I use the Harbor Freight low profile floor jack - huge lifting range and lifts 3 tons.

I would think the Subaru jack should work. Maybe test it out?

Your single axle 13 trailer is a lot lighter than your Subaru(even if you have a 24 pack of beer in a cooler) so your Subaru Outback scissor jack will be good.
