Going through all the systems and replacing old, original and well used parts on my new to me 1988 Outrage 20. I am replacing all the fuel lines and now I am at the 1-1/2" fuel fill line to the main tank. My question- is this a 1 piece fuel line to the tank? On my boat it takes it's a 2 piece and takes a 90 degree turn from vertical to horizontal and they used a plastic pvc elbow to do this. Don't think this is right, but would love to know what people have done on their boat when replacing. It seems like you may be able to get a 90 degree bend out of the very stiff 1-1/2" line but might rub on the little square removable cover for that area. Thanks in advance for any help.

The OEM fill line was 1 piece bent to a 90 degree turn. I believe the new fuel lines are just to stiff to make this bend. I have used a copper 90 to make the bend in the past. A plastic fitting is no good and suggest to me that the line has been replaced in the past.

I have seen it both ways.

One member stated the bend of the hose is hard on the floor cover.

I personally would use a 90 elbow.

I can pretty much guarantee a PVC elbow is not factory and can easily crack. If you are going to use an elbow I would have a 1 1/2" Elbow made out of aluminum.

I had this done for both the fill and vent hoses through a 1/4" plate so that it easily seals to the floor preventing water from passing through and getting under the floor to ruin the gas tank.

Found a good solution online. A 90 degree stainless steel elbow with a softer bend then straight 90. A place called Filler Neck Supply Company that makes these specifically for fuel. It fits and was only $20. Thanks for the help.
