Hello... I am looking for an affordable cover for indoor storage for a 2018 Dauntless 170. It has side rails, but NO BOW RAILS. Most options I see online are for boats with bows rails, so I am not sure if they will work. Anyone know of any options that will work for my boat without getting complete custom?
Also, what is the best material to get for indoor storage? I will not be trailering or leaving outside with the cover. Is it more important to get something cheaper that breaths, rather than water/sun proof?
And advice is appreciated...
Thanks!

Hi, welcome to Whaler Central and congrats on your new boat!
Given that you will be storing the boat exclusively indoors, UV and rain/snow protection should not be a concern. Also, a perfectly snug fit wouldn't be a priority either because wind should not be an issue.
So it sounds like you could get away with a cover made from lighter weight material - - more of a dust cover than anythng else.
In your shoes, I would probably purchase an inexpensive off-the-shelf cover designed for boats in the correct size range (possibly tailored for "bay boats" or even "bass boats", which often lack bow rails.) These are offered by many manufacturers (e.g. Carver, Overtons) and I'm sure others here will chime in with some good suggestions.
