1978 Montauk 17

I am looking for a replacement "Beauty Ring" that goes around the opening in the well where the bilge pump hose goes through. The one on my boat is made of plastic and is broken. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Not factory.

You will have to find an aftermarket fit.

The boat didn't come from the factory with a hole for the bilge pump? My father bought the boat from our local Whaler dealer new and it was on it when he got it. You think this was a dealer installed option?

Definitely dealer installed.

Not sure why one would cut a hole. Where exactly is that hole?

Most Montauk 17 owners who install a bilge pump rig the hose to discharge into the splashwell by running the hose up and over the rear wall or by following the steering cable around and then adding a 90 L elbow.

You should seal the inside of that hole with a good quality polysulfide sealant and then install something like this:

That hose does not appear to be the appropriate type since is is compressed.
