Hello everyone, new to the forum. I'm trying to save a 1986 Montauk 17' that was left to die in the corner of the boat lot. I need the fuel tank pads and I've only seen one place that had them and they want almost $300 for them. I'm hoping someone here can help me. Thanks

The OEM pads are unique and a bit expensive.

Some members use almond squares of Dri-Dek under the RPS.

Thank you, Phil T, That's an interesting idea. I did spend some time on this forum and did find some OEM pads for half of what this other place wanted from one of the dealers listed on this site. I can see some good uses for the Dri-deck you mentioned.

Beacon Twin Cities Marine is where you want to get them, and for the correct price.
