Hi There, anyone else had issues with re-fuelling on 2012 Dauntless 170?
Whaler have said that it is not a warranty issue but I don't see how as the hull wont take fuel and it has not been modified.
Apparently due to a one way valve installed in the fuel hose?
Anyone?
Cheers

Alex -
There have been reported issues with refueling some models where either the auto-stop on the handle is initiated prematurely OR fuel spillage from the vent.
In both these cases the advice is:
Do NOT use the auto-stop feature but rather fill the tank at 1/2 speed.
Pay particular attention to the attitude of the boat either at the dock or on the trailer. In some cases a stern bias of the hull will make the problem occur.
Is the boat on the trailer or at the fuel dock?
Is the fuel being pumped fast?

Hi Mate, thanks for the reply :0)
It was an issue with the auto stop valves on the fuel hoses, we tried everything but nothing worked so they have now removed them.
Worked a charm!
