1982 17' Newport
Trying to figure how to remove the pivoting seat back.
I know there are two wood screws under each of the two handles but after removing them the back is firmly in place still.
Is it that the canvas seat is just frozen to the wood from the pressure of the screws or are the other screws to be removed?
Looks like it should slide out.

There are screws top AND bottom of the seat cushion surround. Go get 'em!
