Any ideas where I can find a leaning post to replace the seats on my 1992 BW Outrage 19'?

Thanks in advance for the input!

You could try calling one of this site's advertisers, Twin Cities Marine. Ask for Sue. Twin Cities is a Whaler dealer and is a good source of parts. It may be that some of these leaning posts are still available from Whaler.

If you can't find an OEM component, it would not be very difficult to make a custom version. The individual seats unbolt from the top of the livewell, and the leaning post just bolts on in their place. It would even be possible to improve on the OEM leaning post and create a design that better fits your wants/needs.

Along the lines of a custom approach, here is a 19 Outrage II where an RPS (reversible pilot seat) was added on top of the live-well, as well as a nice footrest:

I recall reading of a owner who had pedestal seats and replaced the seats only with a leaning post, the pedestals were re-used.

Personally, I would contact Ray Martin of Martin Marine and get a quote for the exact post you want.
