I was wondering if anyone has ever made a template for the cooler cleat kit that holds the cooler/seat in place on the 130SS. I would like to make one out of Teflon but can not find a template.
CONTENTS OF KIT PART #
1- 50 QT COOLER............................................. 1972121
2- CLEAT ASSEMBLY....................................... 1969318
3- HARDWARE PKG ..................901BWCOOLER130SS
Any assistance would be truly appreciated.
Glen

What exactly is teflon?
The only materials I would think of are phenolic (whaler board) or starboard type product.

Teflon is the registered trade name of the highly useful plastic material polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). PTFE is one of a class of plastics known as fluoropolymers. (wikipedia)

Well, I am located in Nova Scotia Canada. The Boston Whaler website quotes $243.00 USD for the cooler , cleats, hardware plus cushion. Unfortunately Boston Whaler will not sell direct so I must purchase from a dealer. The closest dealer is in Prince Edward Island and they quoted me $943.00 CDN. That is the tax (famous in Canada), shipping, and exchange rate................... :-) I need a template.

Please don't go by the website or a local dealer.
Give Sue a call, she is really great and just may be able to get you just the cleat.
She supplies whaler owners in the US, Mexico, Canada and Europe.
Send her an email and mention we recommended you contact her.
Let us know the results.

Do I call Boston Whaler and ask for Sue? Or do you have a number or e-mail?
Thanks,
Glen

Go on the website link that Phil shows and then click on the contact.
It will bring up the contact email address for Beacon/Twin Cities Marine.
Email addresses are not displayed on this site for anyone, at anytime, for any reason.
This has to do with security along with many other reasons.
