Looking for height and width of side pieces for a 1972 sakonnet pilot seat. The available download does not have any dimensions.

The Sakonnet has the Reversible Pilot Seat and we do not have the drawing for that on our site.

The Nauset and Eastport use the Bench style Pilot Seat and the drawing is in our download section but does not include the height as you found out.

I am assuming you are looking for the Nauset/Eastport seat height dimensions?

You are correct. I had pretty good success building the console from scratch with the plans available and am ready to add the seat. This is my dads old boat and it has not been in the water in twenty years. We are going to give it a test without the seat this weekend. Lake Erie weather permitting. Thanks.

There is a guy (Ward) http://arcshark3d.wix.com/ol-blue-66#...r-drawings that sells drawings for this.

It might behoove you to spend the little money and get the CAD drawings for original and modified CC and seats he offers.

Make sure you get marine grade plywood (which means the glue they used) if going that route or start gluing solid planks together.

Good luck

Ward has been offering his drawings for a long time and they are well regarded by many Whaler members over the years.

Too bad a person needs Flash to view his page(s).
I can't view his page and refuse to install Flash.

Many people like myself have deleted Flash, Java, and other web plugins that present a security issue.

HTML5 is the newer way to present things without all those plug-ins and unnecessary apps.
