I have a Tempo C2814 28 gal fuel tank that has water in it. I emptied 10 gal and had 1/2 gal of water. I believe I have a split/cracked gasket (visible) on the pick up. I was going to replace the gasket but 1 screw won't come out. It's very tight and only turns with difficulty. Very frustrating since I was going to the Keys for mini season. Any ideas or sources for new tank?

You can buy these all day long at West Marine, Wal-Mart or other stores that have them in stock.

Don't let a fuel tank ruin your vacation.

I take it you too are of the replacement road. i think WalMart will be the way to go. I'm going to the Keys but not with the Whaler. Lobster 2 day mini season is next week, Wed & Thursday. Gotta go with or without her! Thanks Joe.

Check my personal page for a photo of my Moeller 22 gallon replacement. I am very happy with it. I think Walmart recently had them on sale online.
