When refinishing the pieces of wood that cover the aft storage/baitwell area on my 1973 Outrage 21 I noticed FP0173 and FP1072 engraved on the wood.

FP would stand for Fisher Pierce along with the part number.
Other initials would be other manufacturers.
Take a look at the drawings in our downloads section.
See the example below from one of the Boston Whaler drawings in our downloads section.

Those numbers indicate the month/year of manufacture. So in your case the covers would have been made in Oct 1972 and Jan 1973
