I have access to an outdoor boat lift that I plan on using to fit a future new trailer to my old 1979 22' Revenge but the straps that were used with the lift are long gone. I thought about ordering new straps and then maybe sell them to the marina's owner or just keep them. Can anyone fathom a guess at what length lifting strap I'd need for a 22' Revenge?

Thanks!

John

John,
I'm using 14' straps on my 1986 Outrage 18. I think your boat has more beam, so I would go with 16' or 18' depending on how high you want the boat out of the water relative to the upper pulley locations. I hope this helps.

D, thanks for your post. I actually found the straps in an old storage shed. They are about 18' and still in relatively decent shape so I should be good to go.

Where can I buy premade lifting straps for my 1969 restored Nauset?

Neil,
Check with the lift vendors/installers. They supplied my belts.

I purchased custom length lifting straps on eBay for my 22' Outrage.
