Hey everyone! My name is Daniel & I'm the proud new owner of a 1990 Outrage 17 powered by a 1990 120 Evinrude. I just got it this past weekend from my new Father in law and am completely in love! This is my 1st boat but I have grown up on the water sailing, surfing, and all that good stuff since I was little. My Dad has a 1974 13 Sport with a 50 horse Johnson on it that I loved so a Whaler was an obvious choice. I know you all like pics so here you go:

Thanks.

Nice boat, my brother is looking for a 16 dauntless, 17 outrage 1, and a 17 montauk,

Either hull will do for him, hes looking for a good engine, and nice

Welcome. He is a "Dead Head" and probably trades boot legged tapes. Perfect, right attitude.

Thanks Joe, I appreciate that link. It looks like they started the 2nd style with the quarter seats in October of 1990. One link I found made it sound like they were made until '99 and had a much larger fuel tank than the 1st style & I was pretty bummed about that. I tried to do my research before I got it.

Thanks jw, I hope your brother has as good of luck as I did!

Guilty as charged, Garris. Although some may not know, Jerry & the Dead encouraged taping and trading of shows. I do have some old tapes from my uncle but with the internet these days you can stream just about any show that was ever on tape.

Thanks for the warm welcome & I look forward to the wealth of knowledge upon these boards.
