On my 1965 whaler custom I have a anchor locker at the bow of the boat which is covered with a wooden seat/pad. The seat base is comprised of two pieces of wood that might be Teak? looking to see what the official stain and varnish is brand type, etc..

Teak most likely and in some cases will be Mahogany.
OEM was Teak with a dash of oil but no stain or varnish.
Dis assemble and act accordingly.

Please tell us what length model you are trying to find answers to.
See the 3 guidelines on our front page when asking questions.

1965 Whalers did not have Teak.
Usually Mahogany was used everywhere.

See the rest of the 1965 era models in our "Whaler Models and Specifications" section here:

If it is a 1965, then look at the 16' models and the 13' models.
