I think a lot of people use Starbrite teak oil with success on their teak. I have a teak table which sits outside here in Florida and I use it on that with success. It is a large table that gets beat all kinds of weather. Holds up nice
On my 1979 Montauk 17 restoration(which is in progress), I am currently re-sanding all pieces or replacing the teak, I am using the Z Spar Flagship Varnish. Very good UV protectant - it is the varnish of choice for many old classic wooden boat owners(ie. Chris Craft, Gar wood, Lymans, etc). Comes with a price though.
Some of the Whaler after market parts replacement dealers also use Z Spar on their teak such as
Specialty Marine.
I think the guys at Nautical Lumber(who appear to do some great work), use Interlux Schooner Varnish.
