Have an 1987 SS 15' that previous owner put in a short steering cable - cable barely crosses stern to reach linkage. Cable reads "Ultraflex M66 10ft" - tempted to just order the 11' (foot longer) of same brand but wanted to see if anyone can confirm what they used for this model whaler...

The original steering system in the 1987 Super Sport 15 was the Teleflex Sate-T with an 11' steering cable.
