Has anyone come across a source for a high quality custom leaning post with an integrated live well for a 1991 17' Outrage? Any thing that has been placed in a Montauk or 18' Outrage would work- the area is roughly the same size.

I'm hoping to find a shop that can produce a custom piece in the desert tan finish that doesn't look out of place.

Have you rigged the livewell in the stern already and found it deficient?

Having owned a 1991 Outrage 17, I think a leaning post/livewell fitted for an Outrage 18 will be too large and make moving around very tight.

Phil- yes, the built in live well is too small for the mackerel I'd like to use it for. I think it would work perfectly for minnows for fresh water fishing, but that's not what I need...

My first recommendation is to install a live well in lieu of the cooler seat in front of the console. I fully realize it is not ideal, and members say that location agitates the bait.

Any chance you can find a live well that will fit in the opening of the live well (once you remove the insert)? That will take some research.

Check out nautical deigns. I had a custom leaning post/ tackle center made for my 16' last fall. If you have an idea they will build it. Hope its what you were looking for.
