I just bought a 1990 Outrage 19’ and it does not have the bow rail on it so I will purchase the stainless steel tubing, and the fittings and do it myself but I need to know the length and height of each section and the degrees of all the fittings. Can anybody help me with a diagram or specs of the bow rail? Thank you.

(moderator note: a 1990 would be an Outrage 19', not an 18')

I have a bow rail assembly off of a 1989 Outrage which is bowed slightly from being forced into a storage compartment, It is not kinked and could be easily reshaped. One piece welded with mounting plates.

As I noted above in the Moderator Note: you have an Outrage 19'.

My 1989 Outrage is an 18. Bow rail I guess would be same.

Yes, late 1988 changed to the one piece/welded 1" stainless rails.

Older rails had fittings and were 7/8" in diameter.

Yes Joe, it is a 1990 18’6” outrage I. I was looking to make the bow rail out of 1” fittings and stainless steel piping but I need the height and length dimensions of each section or of the original bow rail so I can try and make it the same. WJMoody: Would you be interested in selling the bow rail you have and send it to me. Please consider and remember that I am currently in Honduras and shipping would be very expensive. Thanks for the help.

Would be glad to help but I think shipping expense would be out of this world as the rail is all one piece welded as originally installed on a 1989 Outrage. It is located in Corpus Christi Texas not far from Mexico.
