I just went to see my boat, a 1979 22 ft Revenge, getting waxed/gel coated (does it look sharp) and I have the rub rail off. Over the weekend I walked one of the local marina's and saw bow lights (starboard and port) recessed in the hull of a 27 ft Whaler just below the anchor pulpit. The rub rail is the hiding area for wires and I wondered if the lights were still available or there is a recommendation for spot lights off the bow. I have access for wires at this point. Thanks for any input.

As they look rather neat and seen before..
And unless I'm mistaken;
I would think twice before making holes on the bow to install these type of lights.
There is some OEM light options that could be found to match the model.
Some were seen as part of the console and if I recall properly were also seen installed on the bow section of the cap.

Thanks for the input. I would not entertain installing the hull lights unless I get assurances from this forum that they are water tight and they would work. Either way I have access for wire and would like a professional looking fixture. I know I can mount a couple of lights on both vertical rail supports but that install looks "Eh! I don't know..." to me. I hate the look of clutter. I did fabricate an anchor pulpit and that takes up some of the space.
