I'm looking to acquire some forward shelter canvas for my 2004 160 Dauntless. I saw a local listing on Craigslist for an unused forward shelter canvas with a window and mounting hardware that is advertised to fit 1978 through 2001 classic Boston Whaler 17' boats like Montauk. It is local and ready for pick up which is attractive. Links are below.

Anyone know if this particular shelter is versatile enough to fit my 160 Dauntless? If not, any recommended sellers of this canvas? Wm. Mills? Thanks.

I don't think this will be the correct width and size for your hull. Only measuring width and height of the boughs will tell.
The OEM Montauk forward shelter sat on the bow deck and not on the gunnels. The shelter in the photo appears to be completely different.

Phil T,
Thank you for the insight. This is year one for me with a Whaler and I have a big learning curve ahead. Appreciate your guidance. Thanks...Dave
