Would anyone having access to an Outrage type leaning post take the effort to diagram the dimensions. I have been unable to find one for sale, so am reduced to having one replicated. I prefer the original design (pre 1985) but the 1985-89 version with the rear rod holdes would work.
Thanks for any help
Jim

I know of only two versions.

Up to 1988

1989 and later

I preferred the 1989 and later as the cooler was easier to remove and/or install without having to remove the bolt like the prior version. Plus the hand rail was a nice feature on the newer version.

I ordered a leaning post for my 18 Outrage from Birdsall Marine. They had the closest to old designs that I could find. Just go through and pick your options.

I got the stainless with no powder coating, pleated white uphostery, rear cooler strap, folding foot rest, rear handrail, folding back rest (Stores in the box under the seat) and they'll make the fiberglass box under the seat and around the flushmounted rod holders sand color to match your hull!

Really upgrades your Whaler.

If you could measure just everything about the leaning post, I will use it to have an exact copy manufactured. so no detail is unimportant. If you could show the various measurments on a sketch of the item, i will take this to my local fab shop and reply if there are any questions
Thank you very much

Any luck with the leaning post diagram or dimensions? I would like to order the build of this part as soon as possible.
Thx again
