I have a 1981 11.4 sport whaler and there is am compartment in the back with cover and drain plug. Does anyone know what that is for? Also on 11.4 what is the biggest size motor to put, and where to put the front bow light that has two wires but there are no other wires to hook up to a battery.

See the yellowish plug where the wires would exit near the rear?

The hatch in the back is just another locker or cooler, etc., similar to the front locker.
