There is a nice Eastport for sale on Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-B...mp;vxp=mtr
It shows a pic of a "rare bow bench seat/ fishing platform (stamped with manufacturers original seal)"
Was this factory?
Anyone have plans for it (not that it would be that hard to figure out)
This might be just what I need for my use (seat... not the boat $$$ wow!)
... but would like it to be "original... ish".

That was Dave Buckalew's boat. He was the guy who restored it. He sold it a year ago for $12,677

It is a beautiful boat.
I have a Nauset and have looked through the years at everything I could find on the Saukanet, Nauset and Eastport 16', variations for ideas of original options to integrate into my boat... and I have never seen this seat/platform in any 16' hull.
It looks original and I am not doubting that it has a BW stamp but was this an option offered?
Maybe it was a one off by BW?
Has anyone seen this before?
It is shown in the 6th pic of the listing.
This is listing is up in 5min maybe I will try and save the image somehow and re-post it so others will have a chance to see it.
