Simple question... just don’t know were else to ask.
I have a chance to pick up a bow rail (and some other parts) from a Sakonnet.
They are located an hour away and want to be sure I can make it in one trip.
I am hoping to do it with a cargo mini van and the only part I am not sure will fit is the bow rail.
So the questions:
Is the original bow rail from a early 16'7" hull one continuous piece or can it easily be disassembled? (If so... how?)
What is the length and width if not?
I do have another BIG truck I could take but it is much much to big and would prefer to use the van if possible.
Thanks,
Jake

do you have a boat trailer and a tow vehicle? If so just use that and tie the rail and any bulky items to the trailer.

That would be a good idea Binkie, but unfortunitly not an option for me on this trip.
I can get close to the measurments by looking on my boat tonight. but I suspect the width will not make it in the just over 48" door... even on a angle.
I guess what I realy need to know is; is the main bow rail made of one continuous tube or is it in sections held togeather by the T fittings? ... and if it is do the T fittings come apart? (without cutting or drilling)

do you have a roof rack? If so, tie it to the roof.

The bow rail comes apart is four sections. All you need is an allen wrench. When I purchased mine, it all fit in a trunck of a Honda Accord.

Mine is screwed together. Why don't you call the seller and confirm....
