Recently added some fresh and unpleasant gouges in the fuel tank coffin of my 1985 outrage 18.
I've ground away all remaining layers of foam and am eager to patch and seal coat without particular concern for color or aesthetics, as the deck will cover all.
I've been considering west system epoxy with microballoons for adequate fairing, but after that?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Also, I've noticed that some of these gouges are bleeding water indicating that the hull is quite waterlogged.
I'm committed to restoring the boat, but remain uncertain as to the best course of action.
Joe?
