I recently found that my fresh water pump was just dangling by it hoses and it worked fine. I now mounted it and not it sprays intermittently?? any ideas on this one?

NO, you have a 2005 Ventura 210 model.

Look at 2002 and later.

Also look at the name on the side of your console or hull. What does it say?
