I finally found my hydraulic steering reservoir and added a quart or so. I have not been able to run it on the water yet and wondered if I need to bleed the system?

Shouldn't have to unless you see a problem.

Turn the steering wheel completely right until it stops and then completely left until it stops.

The parts drawing for the 2005 Ventura 210 calls for a SeaStar Tilt steering which is same in the link I showed you above except it has the tilt feature.

What do you have?
The option is a Merc which is #118 in the drawing above.

If you would b more precise when asking questions as to what brand you have, it would help.
