Not to go on a tangent, but it may help Ralph as well as others.
How do you flair the tubes for angles if you tool hasn’t been modified?

From what I've read in the postings, it seems you use a small dia. allthread rod and either grind one flanger a bit or just use it straight and the hammer tap to shape with a ball peen. I'm not too concerned in that I plan to use 3M 4200 on each end and that stuff seals anything...I just want the job to look decent as well as be functional. Tim Clark's air hammer method is probably best, but a bit over my head.

Ralph sorry I just checked in been busy. Will call you this week I have to go out in the garage and find the tool. It's still in the original box with instructions.
