I found a source for replacing the Shepherd's crook that is missing on my 1988 Montauk 17. They are fabricated out of stainless tubing that is thicker walled than the original but maintains the same outer diameter. Price is reasonable too, $113.00 for the crook and the base attachment. They are one of our sponsor's, Martin Marine, they just don't advertise that piece seperately from the entire console railing package. Call Raymond and he will help you out.
