Does anyone know where I can purchase just the two piece Perko Fig. 298 red/green lens? It's for my 1987 11' Classic Sport.

Where did you get the 298 number?
If that's what you want, see Perko here:

BTW, how do I properly identify the model of my 1987 11'3" Whaler? It has the lifting attachment so is it a Tender? Or a Sport? Or a Sport Classic? Standard??

By the interior layout.
See the 13' models on the left sidebar under "Whaler Models and Info" link and you will definitely see the difference in the interior and rails for a
1. Standard
2. Sport
3. Super Sport
4. Super Sport Limited
