Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: 190 Nantucket - Cushions

I'm trying to locate cushions for this boat... the bow cushion and the stern seats lower / seat cushions. I purchased the boat last year and these were not included. I believe the bow cushion may have been an option. The lower portion of the stern seats were original equipment, but not provided by the prior owner.

Thanks in advance for any info or ideas.

Mike.

Check with Sue Lodel at Twin Cities.

I would think they are still available since the Outrage 190 (changed from Nantucket) is still in production.

Phil:

Thanks. Is the 190 Nantucket actually what is now called the 190 Outrage? Just checking... I didn't know if it was a case of 're-naming' the Nantucket to Outrage or discontinuation of the Nantucket and a new boat model, Outrage, taking its place.

Thanks. Mike

The Nantucket model was sold for several years but the name was changed (marketing consistency I figure) to the Outrage 190. It is the current model. There were no design changes at that time.

I ordered all new for my 2005 Nantucket from my local Whaler dealer in March. Bow cushion was $235.00, port quarter seat $129.00, stbd quarter seat $159.00 (still don't know why the difference in cost on the quarter seats).

SantaCruzin-could you supply name of your local dealer where you purchased the cushions? The price seems quite reasonable and I would like to place an order!

Sam, he is in Central California so his nearest dealer would be the Outboard Motor Shop in Oakland.

However, you can order cushions from any dealer and we would suggest Sue @ Twin Cities Marine. They are a Master Boston Whaler Dealer and located near you.
See the Sponsor panel in the upper right.

Sam, Joe is correct. My closet dealer is OMS in Oakland. They are on the web. Great dealership BTW. Any Whaler dealer can order.

Thanks for the follow up info. I was curious because the prices mentioned are about half of the quotes I have been getting for these cushions (I only need the rear quarter seat cushions). I have talked with Sue (an incredible resource!), some local makers here in MI, and Tena at Anderson Upholstery (who made some cushions for my previous Whaler). They are all telling me roughly $225-$245 for each cushion, shipping not included. I called OMS and they told me to call Tena in FL! Looks like Santa Cruzin got a great deal!
