Hi Everyone,
I recently picked up a Mills forward shelter for $100 from a guy selling on Craigs. I saw the link mentioned here and I'm the guy who bought it...he lives 10 mins from me here in Southern New Hampshire....good guy.
Anyhow, the canvas is kind of ratty and I will replace it. I bought it for the frame and to save $$ on having a shop do measurements etc. My goal is to get this one mounted and make sure its going to work with my bow rail and then take it to a shop and have them replicate it.
Questions are:
1) Will this work with a bow rail? I have the factory bow rail on my 1968 Eastport.
2) What is the hardware I need? I see on Mills' site they list the fittings but w/o pictures I'm not 100% clear on what I'm needing.
Can anyone send me links to the parts I need?
Thanks in advance,
-Chris

What model of boat did the forward shelter come off of?
See the download section for installation drawings for Mills Canvas.

Should be no problem then.
An original type installation just like the drawings in our download section.
You can view other canvas installs for the Nauset and Eastport models in the personal page section.
Several members have the Mills forward shelter photos on their Classic 16 models.
