Serge,

Perko makes something very similar.

Not sure about the hole spacing so you would have to ask Perko.

Serge,
I'm not sure how far you have gone down the path of pricing rechroming this part, but I believe you could do it cheaper than purchasing new. The smallest part that Joe referenced is $185 from Jamestown via Amazon. About a year ago, Tom Clark & I went in together to have a bunch of parts rechromed locally here in Seattle. My portion of the charge was $275, which included 2 complete bow light assemblies, a stern light stanchion & standoff, and several bow rail pieces. The quality was excellent. I'm guessing your Bow Bit could be rechromed for $100 or less, if you were above the shop minimum. In the case of the shop we used, the minimum charge was $100. I f you can find other parts you'd like to sparkle, or if you go together with someone else, you'd get above the minimum & make it most cost effective. Good Luck.

Dennis

Serge,

One more question for you.
Does this have a "Marinium" stamp on top?

The bit seems to be made of brass with a chrome plating. It is an original part from the mid seventies suppliers from the Whaler factory.
There is no visible stamp or mark on any of the surfaces.

Can you "re-chrome" over Marinium?

I have had a hard time polishing up Marinium - i've tried everything.

I would love to chrome my Marinium bow bit on the 1986 Outrage if its possible.
