I have a 1970 Katama. I looked though other members pages to look at other classic whaler stern lights. My question is are these supposed to be hard wired to the wiring harness without a disconnect? I 'm asking because mine is wired without a disconnect. Just wondering if that's just how they were.
Thanks in advance- John

The stern light always had a disconnect. Some people hardwire them because the connectors Whaler used were so unreliable.

Thanks Tom. I will install a disconnect, the light gets in the way fishing.
